'Remembering Blue' by Connie May Fowler
Review: A wonderfully readable book about life. I really enjoyed it.
'The Devil in the White City' by Erik Larson
Review: A history of Chicago's World Fair. Murder and mayhem; who could ask for more?
'She Walks These Hills' by Sharyn McCrumb
Review: I got sucked right into this one. A historical fiction set in the Appalachians.
'Native' by William Haywood Henderson
Review: A very interesting gay cowboy story. Not a bad bathtub book.
'Memoirs of a Geisha' by Arthur Golden
Review: It's simply a *must*.
'Early From The Dance' by David Payne
Review: The beginning was a bit rushed and jumbled but after the first 100 pages or so I got into it. Very intersting characters and a lesson to boot.
'Horatio Hornblower' by C.S. Forester
Review: I caught one of A&E's movie remakes of the books, so was prompted to read them. The first couple were quite interesting but they did get tedious. Of course, reading 5 in a week certainly didn't help.
